Eden is a newer WordPress theme from the folks over at Boxy Studio. You might remember their name from their Forgiven theme, which they launched for churches back in February 2014.

Eden is a full featured theme that caters to churches. It uses Church Themes Content Plugin, which gives the user a solid and stable way to add sermons, people, events, and locations—and all look great.

One thing that perhaps sets Eden apart from most church themes is that Eden comes with the Boxy Page Builder. The Builder is an easy to use page builder that allows you to create nearly any layout on your pages. On top of their builder, they also include some great premium plugins; Booked, Visual Composer, and Slider Revolution.

One last thing that I always evaluate when considering a theme is what their support and documentation is like. While I didn’t need support while working with Eden, I have used Boxy Studio support while working with Forgiven. Their support response has always been great, and their documentation is done well. They have ten dedicated articles just for Eden on their support site.

Overall, working with Eden in WordPress is exactly what you would expect when you pay for a premium theme. It is thoughtfully laid out, and the added functions are helpful for a church looking for a nice premium theme.
